On Sunday morning we woke up and took a nice walk to the Shedd Aquarium. The walk was just right, not windy, and not too cold! Carter loved all the buildings.
I knew that this time around the aquarium would be a completely different experience for Ella. We had visited when she was little when Mike lived in Chicago. Carter was enthralled with everything there. By the end, he was exhausted from running back and forth to all the different tanks.

Did you stay in a hotel? How did everyone sleep away from home? I can't wait until Berit and Marta are old enough to really enjoy Chicago! Your blog keeps prompting Trevor (for whom I recite your posts) to say, "We really should plan a family trip there for this spring/summer/fall/winter/immediately." I'm glad you had such a great time!
