Little Slugger

Carter had his first T-ball game last night. It is suffice to say that this little guy has been waiting a long time to play a "real game". We were excited too....to see how it would all go. Seriously, Scott and I were just giddy with how "into IT" and focused Carter was. It was so fun to see him right in his element. Despite the memories I have from my t-ball days (the stories Mom and Dad love to tell of me picking dandelions in the outfield:) ) he was into every aspect of the game. All dressed up in his uniform. Mom thinks he is handsome!

Warming up

Our little man played 2nd base AND catcher!

The bench

All that batting practice is paying off. Look at the form!

The coach is giving him some encouragement for doing well at catcher

Look at Carter the catcher.

I was surprised at how well he did having NEVER worn the gear before

Ready to take him at home plate.
High Fives for a fun game!

Til tomorrow night!

Awww... LOVE it! Russell just had his first t-ball practice tonight! The games don't begin until June. Will be interesting. During practice he spent lots of time "digging for treasures" while in the outfield :-) He may need to join pirate school instead of baseball! Wish our boys could play together!!! Love ya!
