Keeping Cool!

Summer is in full swing here and we are loving every minute of it! I have so many pics of Fourth Of July that I am still sifting through. It has grown to be one of our favorite holidays and we clearly take more than enough pics to document it! This week was one full of fun in the sun! We headed Lake Michigan on Friday late afternoon to enjoy the beach and all it had to offer. The kids had a blast building sand castles and splashing in the waves. We walked all the way to the lighthouse and enjoyed an ice cream cone on the pier. Tons of fun and lots of great family memories. I need to stay current with my pics as we will be leaving soon for our voyage back to Minnesota and we have tons of fun planned. I am sure we will have volumes of pics to sort through when we return.
This is huge progress for the Moorlag family...everyone is carrying something and we all made it from the van to the beach without tears. Day trips are SO much easier this year! Yeah!
LIttle Doodles checking to make sure I am still behind him.
Didn't take them long to be frolicking in the waves.
Loving every minute of it.
Carter's only wish....that the waves were bigger! Go figure.
Snack time.

Enjoying some good eats and the beautiful surroundings.

We can't resist
hanging around!
It was a great night! Good thing the kids all took snoozes during the day because we didn't get home until 10:00. They didn't fall asleep in the van...shocking! We had a fun filled Saturday too! Our good friends the Heyboer's joined us at mom and dad's for a fun in the sun Saturday.
